Le Duc Tho was one of the founders of the Indochinese Communist Party in 1930. He was imprisoned for his political activities by the French in 1930–36. Le oversaw the Communist insurgency that began in 1956 against the French supported South Vietnamese  government. After the U.S. took over in the 60’s – 1972  fighting continued without the United States until the fall of Saigon in 1975.

Le Duc Tho and Henry Kissinger were jointly awarded the 1973 Nobel Peace Prize for their efforts in negotiating the Paris Peace Accords,  however, he declined to accept the award, stating that there was still no peace in his country.

Did Le have more integrity? I don’t like thinking so. The 5 member Nobel committee should step down and you, Barack, should not accept this farce of a prize. I’m sure 1.4 million dollars is a lot to let go of, but let the world know Mr President, that the leader of the free world is not just a pretender with a smooth mouth, but rather, a forthright man TRULY concerned with the peace, health and welfare of his nation.

Your image around the world is not how you should make decisions. This country needs a man of courage and conviction to make right decisions not some glib politician dribbling worn vehicles of rhetoric like a used car salesman.

Give that Ignobel lack of Peace Prize back Mr President.
